Polysomnographic Technologist, Registered

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and treatments of sleep disorders, including in-center and home sleep apnea testing.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
• Provide patient care and education related to sleep health.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a polysomnography program of at least one year or equivalent experience.
• Credentialed as RPSGT or RRT-SDS, with proof of completion of relevant accredited programs.
• Preferred: Associate degree in polysomnography.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a sleep lab; 3-5 years preferred.

Skills

• Proficiency in sleep disorder evaluation and treatment.
• Ability to provide patient education.
• Knowledge of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for sleep disorders.
