Registered Nurse - Women's & Children Resource Team - Days

Role Overview: This position involves providing nursing care across Pediatric, PICU, Mother/Baby, NICU, and SCN units at two hospitals. The role requires flexibility to float between departments and locations, ensuring quality patient care. Responsibilities Deliver expert nursing care to pediatric and neonatal patientsCollaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plansEnsure compliance with clinical protocols and safety standardsParticipate in patient education and family supportMaintain accurate documentation of patient care activities Qualifications & Skills 1-2 years of PICU and NICU experienceAssociate Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred within five years)Current Illinois RN licensureValid BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (PALS & NRP within six months)Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills Key Duties Provide compassionate, evidence-based patient careFloat between units, adapting to varied patient needsAdhere to hospital policies and safety proceduresParticipate in ongoing professional development
