Registered Nurse - Women's and Children's Resource Team - Nights

About the Role

Provides specialized nursing care to pediatric and neonatal patients across Peds/PICU, Mother/Baby, NICU, and SCN units at two hospital locations. Floats between units, administering patient care, ensuring safety, and supporting clinical teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to pediatric and neonatal patients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Adapt to rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Uphold safety standards and patient-centered practices
• Maintain certifications such as BLS, PALS, and NRP
• Adhere to hospital policies

Requirements

• 1-2 years of PICU/NICU experience
• Associate Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred within five years)
• Illinois RN licensure
• Current BLS certification
• Pediatric Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications needed within six months of hire
