Registered Nurse - Women's and Children Resource Team - Nights

Role Overview

Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric and neonatal patients across various units at two hospitals, floating between Peds/PICU, Mother/Baby, NICU, and SCN. Ensure patient safety and deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a full-time night shift setting with rotating weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and respond to the needs of pediatric and neonatal patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain compliance with clinical standards and safety protocols.
• Support patient and family education and emotional support.

Qualifications & Skills

• 1-2 years of PICU and NICU experience.
• Associate Degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree required within five years if only an associate degree held.
• Current Illinois RN licensure, BLS certification, and certifications in PALS and NRP within six months of start.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
