Registered Nurse - Weekender - Medical Surgical

Role Overview

The position involves providing patient care in both office and clinical settings, requiring adherence to safety protocols and infection control policies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients across all age groups
• Perform frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting
• Work in a fast-paced environment with potential interruptions
• Use PPE as mandated and maintain compliance with infection control standards

Qualifications & Skills

• Nursing degree from an accredited school (Bachelor's of Science in Nursing preferred)
• Prior clinical experience in acute or ambulatory care preferred
• Current New York State RN license
• CPR certification
• ACLS and PALS certification
• Additional certifications in nursing specialties are advantageous

Work Environment

• Perform duties in an air-conditioned, heated environment
• Exposure to cleaning solutions and disinfectants
• Frequent physical activity
• Work near patients and staff

Responsible for access to all patient information, including restricted data (Level 4). No supervision of staff is required.
