Registered Nurse- Operating Room Weekender

Location: MetroHealth Main Campus – Glick

Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday – 0700-1930, 1900-0730 (Weekender Program)

About the role

Join our Main Campus Operating Room, where you will work with a variety of procedural cases ranging from elective to emergency/trauma. This role involves team-based nursing with surgical technicians, anesthesia staff, and surgeons across 20 operating room suites performing 40-50 surgical cases daily.

• Primary skills utilized and learned: circulating, scrubbing

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation)
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire

Qualifications (preferred)

• BSN
• Professional Certification recognized by the Magnet Association
