Registered Nurse- Weekend Work

About the role

Weekend work days. This clinical nurse is accountable for utilizing the nursing process, performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks, supervising other patient care staff, and coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients. The nurse consults with other members of the health‑care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes and demonstrates proficiency while abiding by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to guide patient care.
• Perform patient care activities and delegate tasks to appropriate staff.
• Supervise other patient care staff.
• Coordinate the plan of care for assigned patients.
• Consult with other health‑care team members as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Adhere to all policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.

Requirements

• Applicable experience: less than 1 year.
• Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• Registered Nurse credential.
• Associate degree (various programs accepted).

Schedule

Part‑time, day shift (United States of America).
