About the Role
Join LifeBridge Health’s Northwest Hospital as a Registered Nurse on the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for weekend shifts. This opportunity is ideal for nurses passionate about patient-centered care, looking to deepen skills in cardiac care, telemetry, and peritoneal dialysis within a supportive clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care for patients with complex cardiac diagnoses.
- Use critical thinking to assess patient status and respond with evidence-based interventions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing learning with access to clinical educators, in-services, and hands-on training.
Requirements
- Active Maryland RN license or Compact State license.
- ADN or BSN required (BSN preferred).
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred or must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
- Previous PCU, telemetry, step-down, or med-surg experience preferred.
