Registered Nurse - Vascular Access

About the role

This role involves providing direct nursing care in a medical-surgical setting, focusing on enhancing patient outcomes and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Utilize nursing standards to evaluate and improve care quality
• Develop individualized care plans through assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and evaluation
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to coordinate holistic, culturally sensitive care
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and comfort measures
• Mentor colleagues and foster a positive work environment
• Apply evidence-based practices tailored to patient age and clinical needs
• Perform point-of-care testing and other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent
• Minimum of one year RN experience for certain roles or two years for others
• Current RN license and BLS certification in the relevant state
• Strong communication, assessment, and clinical skills
• Physical ability to perform typical nursing tasks, including lifting and moving patients
