Registered Nurse Unit Manager (RN)

Responsibilities

• Supervise all activities within the assigned unit
• Establish and implement employee policies and procedures
• Mentor less experienced nurses with clinical and career guidance
• Maintain care standards and review resident records and quality of care
• Monitor overall care and review individual resident cases
• Address resident or family questions and complaints
• Represent the unit's interests with upper management

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid State RN License
• Preferred: 3+ years in Long Term Care and 2+ years as a Charge Nurse
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent communication skills
