About the role
Supervise a nursing unit in a skilled nursing facility, overseeing daily operations, staff, and resident care.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of the assigned unit
- Establish and implement employee policies and procedures
- Mentor less experienced nurses with clinical and career guidance
- Maintain care standards and review resident records and quality of care
- Monitor overall resident care and address questions or complaints
- Represent the unit with upper management
Requirements
- Valid State RN License
- Experience in Long Term Care (preferred)
- Charge Nurse experience (preferred)
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
