About the role

Supervise all aspects of the assigned unit, including staff oversight, policy implementation, and resident care standards.

Responsibilities

• Handle all supervisory duties for the assigned unit
• Help establish and implement employee policies and procedures
• Mentor less experienced nurses, offering clinical and career advice
• Maintain the standards of care for the unit
• Review resident records and quality of care
• Monitor overall care and review individual residents’ cases
• Address questions or complaints from residents or their families
• Represent the unit’s interests with upper-level management

Requirements

• Must hold a valid State RN License
• 3 years of Long Term Care experience preferred
• 2 years of Charge Nurse experience preferred
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent communication skills
