About the role
Join our team as a full-time, Day shift Telemetry Intermediate Care Stepdown (IMC) Charge Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities
- Shift management
- Monitoring care quality
- Providing clinical support under the Nurse Manager's guidance
- Serving as a liaison
- Communicating major occurrences
- Assigning patient care tasks
- Mentoring new staff
- Participating in performance reviews
- Assessing patient and family needs
- Developing and adjusting care plans to meet diverse needs
- Delegating tasks
- Ensuring adherence to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act
Qualifications
- An Associate’s degree in nursing
- CURRENT Kansas RN licensure
- BLS certification within 14 days
- ACLS and oncology certifications required for specific units
- All certifications completed within the first year
- At least one year of relevant experience (preferred)
- A Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (preferred)
