Registered Nurse - Surgical Intensive Care Unit

Position Overview: This role is based in a 14-bed Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU), providing care for post-operative and critically ill surgical patients. The team operates in a fast-paced, collaborative environment supported by continuous cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care following established policies, procedures, and protocols.Implement and monitor patient care plans, and communicate patient conditions effectively.Coordinate multidisciplinary care as the primary caregiver.Follow physician and nursing orders accurately.Assess and coordinate discharge planning with the healthcare team. Qualifications And Skills Licensed Registered Nurse with current licensure from the Alabama Board of Nursing.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification within 180 days of hire.Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
