About the Role
Join the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) team providing care for post-operative and critically ill surgical patients in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to patients.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans.
- Communicate patient conditions to the healthcare team.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care.
- Manage physician and nursing orders.
- Assist with discharge planning and ensure seamless patient transitions.
Requirements
- Licensed Registered Nurse with a valid license from the Alabama Board of Nursing.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing school.
- Current BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS certification within 180 days of hire.
Schedule
Multiple shift options are available, including full-time days with 3 12-hour shifts.
Work Location
Healthcare facility supporting a 14-bed SICU with continuous monitoring.
