Registered Nurse - Surgical Care - Full Time Days

Position Overview

The registered nurse provides professional, technical nursing care to patients, utilizing the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to deliver age-appropriate care according to unit standards.
• Communicate effectively, build relationships, and promote a collaborative environment.
• Take accountability for performance, seek continuous improvement, and demonstrate initiative for professional growth.
• Enhance patient experience through proactive care and engagement.
• Lead and support team members to ensure quality care delivery.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support certification and relevant department certifications.
• Valid nursing license in Texas or eligibility to practice.
• Minimum of 6 months RN experience.

Work Environment & Culture

Work shift is 12x3 days, with hours from 7 am to 7 pm, providing a dynamic and collaborative hospital setting that values diversity and professional development.
