Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical - Full Time Days

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers high-quality patient care, promoting positive outcomes through compassionate and efficient nursing practice. Working under general supervision, the RN coordinates patient care via the nursing process and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patient needs and conditions to provide appropriate nursing care
• Developing individualized care plans based on medical history, diagnostics, and current status
• Administering medications and treatments to ensure comprehensive care
• Reconciliation of medical records for accuracy and compliance
• Monitoring patient responses and adjusting interventions as needed
• Collaborating with the healthcare team for effective care planning
• Performing additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred
• At least 1 year of RN experience, with preference for clinical specialty expertise
• Valid RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state
• Current BLS (CPR) certification from American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
