Role: Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN)
Responsibilities
- Supervise nursing staff during shifts to ensure optimal patient care.
- Assist in directing, coordinating, and overseeing the Nursing Services Department.
- Supervise and support nurses during acute episodes, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.
- Address employee issues promptly and document actions taken.
- Handle on-call responsibilities as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications And Skills
- High school diploma required; licensed RN from an accredited school with current North Carolina license.
- Experience in geriatric nursing preferred.
- CPR certification annually.
- Ability to supervise staff effectively, ensure timely completion of work, and adhere to policies and regulations.
- Commitment to providing quality nursing care and following doctor orders.
- Participation in in-service training and staff meetings.
