Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN) to lead, support, and inspire our nursing staff while providing outstanding care to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift by monitoring the distribution of medications, blood draws, and other elements of patient care
• Conduct nursing rounds on each unit multiple times throughout the shift
• Provide education, as needed, to staff, residents and resident family members
• Ensure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines
• Exercise sound judgment and make independent decisions when appropriate
• Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing or Administrator

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor Degree in Nursing
• Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Registered Nurse License
• At least 2 years of long-term care or subacute experience is preferred

Skills

• Utilize effective communication and critical thinking skills to support quality care and team collaboration
• Demonstrate strong teamwork while supporting colleagues and delivering exceptional resident care
• Maintain a positive attitude and remain composed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Computer knowledge and experience using Point Click Care (PCC)

• Schedule: 7pm-7am, every other weekend required
• Work today; Get paid today option available
