Responsibilities
- Play a vital role on our care team by providing exceptional clinical care
- Create a supportive, welcoming environment for residents and teammates
- Supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift
- Monitor the distribution of medications, blood draws, and other elements of patient care
- Conduct nursing rounds on each unit multiple times throughout the shift
- Provide education, as needed, to staff, residents, and resident family members
- Ensure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing, or Administrator
Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor Degree in Nursing
- Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Registered Nurse License
- Minimum 2 years of long-term care or subacute experience (preferred)
