Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN)

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care and supervise nursing staff during shifts.
• Ensure high-quality patient care by supervising facility operations and nursing staff.
• Assist the Director of Nursing in coordinating and supervising the Nursing Services Department.
• Supervise nursing services in accordance with regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Support nurses during acute episodes and address employee issues promptly.
• Handle on-call responsibilities and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma and current RN license from an accredited nursing program.
• Valid licensure from the appropriate licensing board, with proof of renewal.
• Commitment to providing quality nursing care, following doctor’s orders, and interest in geriatric nursing.
• Annual CPR certification and participation in staff training and meetings.
• Ability to supervise nursing staff effectively and ensure timely completion of work assignments.
• Knowledge of policies, procedures, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Background checks required.
• Drug-free workplace adherence.
• Adherence to organizational policies.
