Registered Nurse Stroke Specialist

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid stroke assessments and coordinate acute interventions.
• Monitor neurological status and provide expert, evidence-based stroke care.
• Guide patients and families through recovery processes and prevention education.
• Collaborate with neurologists, ED, ICU, and rehabilitation teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Contribute to stroke program quality initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current RN licensure with relevant clinical experience in stroke or neurological care.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary, patient-centered environment.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and quality improvement in stroke management.
