Registered Nurse Stroke Clinical Coordinator
Job Summary
The Clinical Stroke Coordinator is responsible for the education of stroke patients and ensuring quality patient care. Duties include coordinating hospital efforts, enhancing staff knowledge, implementing quality improvement processes, performing chart audits, and collaborating on projects.
Qualifications
- REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Nursing Associate Degree, Diploma Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree Required. Experience as RN in Critical Care, Med-Surg., Orthopedic Surgery.
- PREFERRED EDUCATION, LICENSURE, CERTIFCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: Preferred experience as RN in Critical Care, Med-Surg., Orthopedic Surgery. ACLS certification within 6 months of employment for new GN’s/RN’s.
