Registered Nurse - Special Care Nursery - Nights - Per Diem

About the role

The Staff Nurse provides safe, compassionate nursing care across patient populations by planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Delivers care in a Level 2E Special Care Nursery
• Adheres to safety protocols
• Performs patient assessment and care planning
• Works night shifts, rotating weekends, and holidays

Requirements

• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing (must transition to a Bachelor’s degree if only an Associate degree is held)
• Current Illinois RN licensure
• BLS certification
• NRP certification within six months of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 2 years of NICU Level 3 RN experience
