Schedule

Weekend Doubles: Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM. Candidates must work two consecutive weekend double shifts to qualify for the Baylor Program.

Pay

Competitive pay based on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide services that exceed company and regulatory standards
  • Initiate and lead individualized nursing care plans
  • Assess and document the resident’s condition and nursing needs
  • Accurately and promptly implement physicians’ orders
  • Assign nursing care to team members in accordance with the resident’s needs and the person’s capabilities and qualifications
  • Administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments for assigned residents
  • Document treatments as required
  • Ensure supplies are utilized economically and equipment is clean and maintained in a safe manner
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
  • One year of nursing experience is preferred
  • Valid RN license
  • Valid CPR certification
  • Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, their family members, and at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff
  • Must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication
