Responsibilities

• Lead Care Partners on the shift as a role model of kindness, accountability, and collaboration.
• Pass medication and assist with self‑administration as required by state law.
• Participate in interviewing new Care Partners and Med Techs as needed.
• Provide orientation for new Care Partners and Med Techs.
• Conduct training and re‑training of Care Partners and Med Techs in accordance with state regulations or to maintain skills.
• Coach team members to be their best in collaboration with the Administrator.
• Collaborate with the RCC and Administrator for scheduling.
• Supervise the storage, distribution, and discontinuation of residents’ medication.
• Maintain continued compliance with Compass Senior Living policies and the Quality Counts Policy and Procedure Manual.

Requirements

• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Willingness to learn and work within a team environment.
• Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers.
• Licensing documentation as required by your state and the ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Meet all health requirements, including TB testing if required.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
