About the role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to oversee daily operations in a skilled nursing facility.
Responsibilities
- Supervising assigned unit staff and ensuring quality care standards
- Establishing and implementing employee policies and procedures
- Mentoring less experienced nurses with clinical and career guidance
- Reviewing resident records, monitoring care quality, and addressing individual cases
- Responding to questions or complaints from residents and families
- Representing the unit’s interests with upper management
Requirements
- Valid State RN License
- Preferred 3 years of Long Term Care experience and 2 years of Charge Nurse experience
- Strong computer skills and excellent communication abilities
- Strong leadership, clinical expertise, and effective communication skills
