About the Role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to oversee operations in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility.
Responsibilities
- Supervising daily unit activities and staff
- Establishing and implementing policies and procedures
- Mentoring less experienced nurses with clinical and career guidance
- Maintaining high standards of care
- Reviewing resident records and quality of care
- Monitoring overall resident care and individual cases
- Addressing questions or complaints from residents or families
- Representing the unit's interests to upper management
Requirements
- Valid State RN License
- Preferred 3 years of Long Term Care experience
- Preferred 2 years of Charge Nurse experience
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent communication abilities
