About the role

The Unit Manager is a Registered Nurse responsible for coordinating clinical care on an assigned unit within a 24-hour operation. The role involves assessing resident needs, implementing care, and working with an interdisciplinary team. The position offers competitive compensation starting at $88,000-$90,000 per year, plus a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing team and provide direction and assignments
• Conduct regular rounds with patients and staff to monitor performance and care
• Instruct the team on the skilled care process and serve as a resource for clinical issues
• Ensure the completion of required reports such as infection control and pharmacy compliance
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in interactions with guests, their families, and visitors

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with at least 2 years of related experience
• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan
• CPR-BLS certification
• High level of analytical abilities to prepare personalized care plans and develop solutions to complex problems
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to providing exceptional care
