Job Summary

The Unit Manager is a Registered Nurse responsible for coordinating clinical care on an assigned unit within Wellbridge of Clarkston's 24-hour operation. The role involves assessing resident needs, implementing care, and working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing team and provide direction and assignments
• Conduct regular rounds with patients and staff to monitor performance and care
• Instruct the team on the skilled care process and serve as a resource for clinical issues
• Ensure the completion of required reports such as infection control and quality management
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in interactions with residents, their families, and visitors

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with at least 2 years of related experience
• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan and CPR-BLS certification
• High level of analytical abilities to prepare personalized care plans and develop solutions to complex problems
• Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to providing exceptional care
• Team player with a dedication to supporting team members and achieving goals
