Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgical Step-Down - Midnights - Part Time

About the role

The Surgical Intermediate Step-Down Unit, 4D, is a 35-bed facility that provides care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients requiring nursing interventions every two to four hours.

Responsibilities

• Care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients requiring nursing interventions every two to four hours.
• Part of a team providing comprehensive patient care in an acute care setting.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; commitment to obtaining within three years of date of hire.
• One year of nursing experience required; two years in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.
• Licensed or license eligibility in the state of Delaware.
• BLS Certification required; ACLS required within one year of hire.

Qualifications

• Experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Delaware.

Pay

Hourly Pay Range: $41.28 - $66.05

Schedule

This is a part-time position of 48 hours per pay period and 24 hours per week. The hours for this position are overnight shifts from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with a weekend rotation and adherence to internal weekend practices. Holidays are required per organization policy.
