About the Role

Christiana Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Surgical Intermediate Step-Down Unit, 4D. This is a 35-bed Intermediate Care/Stepdown inpatient unit, caring for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. This unit cares for patients requiring nursing interventions Q2-Q4 hours.

Responsibilities

• Caring for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients requiring nursing interventions Q2-Q4 hours.
• Part of a team providing comprehensive patient care.
• Assessing patients’ needs and developing care plans.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient care continuity.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; or commitment to obtaining within three years of date of hire.
• One year of nursing experience required.
• Two years' of nursing experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.
• Licensed or license eligibility in the state of Delaware.
• BLS Certification required. ACLS required within 1 year of hire.

Pay

Hrs: 48 per pay/24 per week. The hours for this position are Days 7a.m. - 7:30 p.m. and Overnights of 7 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. This requires a weekend rotation and follows internal weekend requirement practice. Holidays required per organization policy.

Schedule

Pay Range
