About the Role
A full-time RN Acute Care delivers high-quality, individualized patient care in the Surgery/Bariatric unit using evidence-based nursing practices. The role involves performing the nursing process, coordinating care through effective partnerships, and ensuring patient-centered, culturally sensitive care.
Responsibilities
- Perform assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Provide relationship-based, culturally competent care tailored to patient needs.
- Partner with patients and families using effective communication methods.
- Coordinate safe, quality care within an interdisciplinary team.
- Support performance improvement activities and promote evidence-based practice.
- Serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster a qualified workforce.
- Participate in research, maintain compliance with policies, and optimize resource use.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred.
- GA or Compact Nursing License, BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years RN experience required.
- Ability to work night shift (7p-7a) three days per week.
Skills
