Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgery/Bariatric - Acute Care

Role: The RN Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care as part of an interdisciplinary team, ensuring individualized treatment based on evidence-based practices. Responsibilities: Perform nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation; partner with patients and families; promote teamwork through effective communication and documentation; support performance improvement and evidence-based research; develop protocols; and ensure compliance with policies and standards. Qualifications: Must hold an active RN license (single-state or multi-state compact), BLS certification, and a minimum of an associate or diploma in nursing (bachelor's preferred). Skills: Critical thinking, cultural competence, collaboration, professional development, resource management, and adherence to regulatory standards. Additional: Experience in direct patient care preferred; must complete ongoing competency assessments and serve as a mentor or preceptor.
