Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgical and Wound Care
For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering up to $10,000 Sign-on bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with 0-2 years of experience and $20,000 for experienced Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of experience. Eligible candidates must be hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time RN position. Bonus amount is prorated for Part time hires; per diem hires are ineligible. Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.
About the role
The Registered Nurse - Wound Care role is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting care in the treatment of patients with complex wounds, ostomies, or continence conditions.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing program required.
- Bachelor’s Degree required (BA or BSN).
- Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required.
- Current Wound and Ostomy Nurse Certification (CWON) required or must achieve within one year of start date.
- Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
- Positions in Home Care will require a valid Driver's license.
- One year of relevant experience preferred.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $37.09 to $50.17 per hour. Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
