About the role
A Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor is needed to oversee weekend shifts at a skilled nursing facility.
Responsibilities
- Establishes and implements policies and procedures for the assigned unit.
- Mentors less experienced nurses and ensures that all standards of care are met.
- Reviews resident records and monitors the overall quality of care provided.
- Addresses questions or complaints from residents and their families.
- Represents the unit with upper management.
Qualifications
- Valid NYS RN License
- Prior 2 years of Long Term Care experience preferred
- Prior 1 year of Charge Nurse experience preferred
- Strong communication and computer skills
- Positive attitude and leadership qualities
