Registered Nurse (RN) - Same Day Surgery PACU

Role Overview

Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients by developing individualized care plans, delivering physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support, and collaborating with healthcare teams. Responsible for reviewing physician prescriptions, coordinating care, educating patients and families, and evaluating patient outcomes to ensure quality care.

Responsibilities

• Develops and updates nursing care plans based on patient assessments and medical histories.
• Communicates effectively with the healthcare team and confers with physicians to ensure coordinated care.
• Educates patients and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
• Maintains safety and infection control standards, manages medication administration, and documents care in records.
• Ensures proper operation and maintenance of patient care equipment and supplies.
• Adheres to legal, organizational, and safety regulations, demonstrating a commitment to quality standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Effective communication skills, visual acuity, and ability to work collaboratively.
• Preferred 1-3 years of clinical experience.
