About the role
The Nurse Residency Program prepares graduate nurses to refine their clinical skills under supervision, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and standards.
Responsibilities
- Participate in training and development activities
- Manage patient data and maintain thorough documentation
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer treatments and medications as directed
- Advocate for patients and their families
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Delegate care appropriately to other team members
- Work closely with licensed RNs to deliver safe, ethical, and effective patient care
- Demonstrate critical thinking and age-specific clinical understanding
- Perform clinical assessments
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- No prior nursing experience required; candidates with more than 12 months of experience are ineligible
- Current RN license or provisional/graduate license with NCLEX scheduled
- Must hold an active RN license recognized in the state or multistate license
- Strong adherence to policies on confidentiality, infection control, and safety

Schedule
Work shifts are variable and based in the Emergency Department of a hospital facility.
