Role Overview: The Nurse Residency Program is designed for new graduate nurses with less than one year of experience. Responsibilities Include Attending core clinical training, professional development workshops, and peer support groups.Successfully completing clinical competencies and validation requirements.Assisting in patient assessments, developing care plans, and performing treatments under supervision.Recording patient data, identifying problems, and making referrals as needed.Participating in quality improvement processes, ensuring adherence to policies, and maintaining patient safety.Delegating care appropriately, recognizing unit issues, and adjusting staffing based on patient needs.Performing other duties as assigned within the scope of practice. Qualifications & Skills Associate degree in Nursing; Bachelor's preferred.No prior experience required; candidates with over 12 months are ineligible.Current RN license or provisional license with NCLEX testing completed.Knowledge of nursing standards, patient advocacy, and infection control.
