About the role

Responsible for completing core clinical training, participating in professional development, and gaining hands-on experience under supervision in a Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

  • Attend classes, workshops, and peer support groups to develop nursing skills and knowledge.
  • Manage clinical situations with oversight from a licensed RN, ensuring documentation and procedures meet organizational standards.
  • Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, respecting patient rights and ethical standards.
  • Record patient care activities, recognize and address clinical issues, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Delegate nursing tasks appropriately, ensure safety, and adjust staffing based on patient needs under supervision.
  • Complete clinical skills with oversight, adhere to policies, and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Nursing; Bachelor's preferred.
  • No prior experience required; candidates with over 12 months are ineligible.
  • Valid RN license or provisional license/Graduate Nurse license with NCLEX scheduled.
  • Current multistate RN license recognized by NCSBN.
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and adherence to policies.
