Role Summary: Provides clinical leadership and direct patient care in an acute inpatient setting, promoting patient and family-centered care. Utilizes evidence-based practices across all nursing processes—assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and outcomes—while ensuring safety, quality, and cost-effective care. Develops individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team, adjusting them as patient conditions change. Delegates tasks appropriately, monitors care quality, and maintains a safe environment in compliance with regulatory standards. Educates patients and families, advocates for their needs, and documents care accurately. Participates in performance improvement initiatives, evaluates care effectiveness, and incorporates quality enhancement strategies. Maintains professional licensure, adheres to policies and procedures, and demonstrates ongoing competency. Collaborates effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
