Role Overview

As a registered nurse, you will assess residents' health, educational, and environmental needs upon admission and throughout their stay. You will communicate significant changes in condition to the interdisciplinary team (IDT), accurately document assessments, and develop dynamic, individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians, residents, families, and other team members. Your responsibilities include reviewing and updating care plans, ensuring timely and safe execution of nursing interventions such as medication administration, treatments, and IV therapy, and documenting all actions precisely.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and document residents' health status and needs
  • Develop and revise personalized care plans
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members
  • Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
  • Monitor residents for behavioral or health changes
  • Respond to crisis situations professionally
  • Ensure care plan delivery and address issues using QAPI processes
  • Participate in ongoing nursing education and self-study
  • Assist with resident ADLs and respond to call lights

Qualifications & Skills

  • Registered nurse license in applicable state
  • Graduated from an accredited nursing program
  • CPR/AED certification (or willing to obtain within six months)
  • Critical thinking, excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and assist residents and equipment safely
  • Manual dexterity and visual acuity necessary for documentation and care tasks
