Registered Nurse (RN) - Radiology-Vascular Intervention

Responsible for providing care in accordance with the North Carolina Board of Nursing-Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, and other standards established by professional groups and regulating bodies. Nursing care is delivered following ECU Health and entity-specific nursing policies, procedures, and professional standards of care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide and coordinate nursing care, including collection and analysis of assessment data.
  • Identify expected outcomes and develop a plan of care in collaboration with the patient/family and interdisciplinary team.
  • Implement interventions identified in the plan of care and evaluate progress toward outcome attainment.
  • Document the care process, ensuring sensitivity to age-specific and unique patient/family needs.
  • Promote and evaluate the effective functioning of the healthcare team.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to meet patient/family needs throughout the episode of care.
  • Delegate tasks and activities as appropriate and governed by the NC Nurse Practice Act.

Requirements

  • Current North Carolina Registered Nurse license or licensure to practice in a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.

Schedule

  • 12-hour shifts, night shift.
  • Occasional weekend shifts required.
  • No on-call duty.
