Registered Nurse (RN) Radiation Oncology Full time
About the role
A Registered Nurse position is available in the Radiation Oncology department within the Calaway Young Cancer Center in Valley View. The position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus for a full-time, two-year commitment. The Calaway Young Cancer Center is a unique cancer treatment facility in the Rockies, known for its innovative and compassionate care.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive oncology patient care in a fast-paced clinic environment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including primary care physicians, surgeons, and other medical specialists.
- Adapt quickly to changing clinical situations and communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team.
- Coordinate oncology patient care with other interdisciplinary staff.
- Manage chronic illnesses and comorbidities in patients of various age groups and cultural backgrounds.
- Stay updated on the latest trends, skills, procedures, and protocols in hematology/oncology and internal medicine.
Qualifications
- Current Colorado RN license.
- BLS, ACLS certifications.
- Prior oncology nursing experience preferred but not required.
- Experience in radiation oncology is preferred.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced clinic environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Organized and flexible.
- Knowledge of chronic illness and comorbidity management.
- Understanding of the latest evidence-based oncology, immunology, and pharmacology.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $37.50 to $56.23 per hour, depending on education, skill set, and experience. Entry salary is dependent upon education, skill set, and experience. Some internal candidates may not be eligible for the $10,000 sign-on bonus.
Schedule
Full-time, 4 days a week, no weekends or holidays.
