About the Role

The RN Clinical Nurse collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care in a clinical setting. They perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices and critical thinking to individualize patient care. Responsibilities include fostering relationships with patients and families, practicing cultural competence, and ensuring effective communication and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide relationship-based, culturally sensitive, patient-centered care.
  • Partner with patients and families to set and achieve care goals.
  • Adhere to clinical practice standards, policies, and safety protocols.
  • Promote teamwork, interdisciplinary communication, and respectful clinical environments.
  • Participate in performance improvement, research, and evidence-based practice activities.
  • Support professional development, mentorship, and a healthy work environment.
  • Assist in protocol development and resource management.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Current RN licensure (single-state or multi-state compact).
  • Less than one year of clinical experience preferred.
