About the Role
The RN Clinical Nurse collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care in a clinical setting. They perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices and critical thinking to individualize patient care. Responsibilities include fostering relationships with patients and families, practicing cultural competence, and ensuring effective communication and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Provide relationship-based, culturally sensitive, patient-centered care.
- Partner with patients and families to set and achieve care goals.
- Adhere to clinical practice standards, policies, and safety protocols.
- Promote teamwork, interdisciplinary communication, and respectful clinical environments.
- Participate in performance improvement, research, and evidence-based practice activities.
- Support professional development, mentorship, and a healthy work environment.
- Assist in protocol development and resource management.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- BLS certification required.
- Current RN licensure (single-state or multi-state compact).
- Less than one year of clinical experience preferred.
