Registered Nurse (RN) - Post Surgical

About the role

Join our Critical Care Step Down Unit to provide specialized nursing care for patients with conditions such as congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA, and sepsis. You will collaborate with Patient Care Nursing Assistants, Nurse Interns, providers, PT, and OT to deliver comprehensive patient care. The unit features 24 beds and employs advanced technology such as patient lifts, hands-free communication, virtual whiteboards, and telemetry monitoring.

Responsibilities

• EKG interpretation
• Central line care
• Assisting with bedside procedures
• Utilizing skills such as rescue Bi‑Pap, high‑flow oxygen, trach/vents

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Ohio
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification within 6 months

Preferred candidates hold a BSN.
