Patient Care

Qualifications

• Documentation of completion of professional nursing program (RN program)
  Current Registered Nurse (RN) license through the MN Board of Nursing
  Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. If candidate holds valid CPR for through another acceptable organization (as determined by Gillette), candidate may be able to begin employment but must complete Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association within one month of employment.
  Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. ACLS must be obtained by the end of orientation or max of 3 months of hire.
  Current American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification. PALS must be obtained by the end of orientation or max of 3 months of hire.
  Must be interested in working with people with short term or long-term disabilities that begin in childhood.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing or other healthcare related field.
  Prior nursing experience in a health-related setting
  Nursing Specialty Certification relevant to the position

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Excellent customer service skills
  Ability to provide specialized care for critically ill/injured infants, children, and adolescents
  Ability to work in a high-pressure environment while providing exceptional care.

This position exists to administer family-centered nursing care to patients, advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention, and/or provide skilled assistance in navigation of the health care system as appropriate to the developmental, cultural, emotional, and medical, surgical, or rehabilitative needs of the patient and their families.

Compensation & Benefits Information

The hourly wage for this opportunity is $43.28 to $73.97/hour. Pay is dependent on several factors including number of hours worked within the field, education, and certification/licensure.
$1.75 weekend/ $2.35 evening/night differential is available for this position.

About the Role

We are currently hiring for an RN - PeriAnesthesia. 0.5 FTE, Day Shift - 10-hour shifts (staggered start /end times) with shift times starting from 6:00 am to 10:00 am with end times ending as late as 8:30 pm. Both weekday and weekend on-call shifts are required for this position. Pediatric PeriAnesthesia experience preferred.
