About the role
PACU Nurse in a 35-bay recovery unit supporting the Operating Room, caring for diverse inpatient and outpatient patients across all service lines in a level 1 trauma center.
Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care
- Ensure patient safety
- Monitor recovery progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in patient education and ensure smooth transitions from surgery to recovery
Qualifications
- Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont
- ADN required (BSN preferred)
- Relevant clinical experience in critical care or PACU preferred
