Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatric Emergency Department

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care as part of a patient care team, focusing on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs. They serve as a key liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring patient safety, satisfaction, and advocacy. Key Responsibilities Monitor, evaluate, and document patient conditions and care plans.Deliver safe, effective care aligned with policies and procedures.Coordinate patient flow and prioritize care to optimize outcomes.Address patient and family concerns, providing education and support.Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to quality outcomes.Maintain professional licenses, certifications, and pursue ongoing development.Mentor and support the growth of other nursing staff, fostering a positive work environment.Adhere to confidentiality, safety, and professional standards, supporting shared governance. Qualifications & Skills Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.Current RN license (single state or multi-state compact).Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.Strong communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills.
