Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatric Emergency Department

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care by collaborating with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs. They serve as a key communication link between patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring patient-centered care and satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Monitor, evaluate, and document patient conditions and care plans, applying independent judgment to deliver safe, effective care.Prioritize and coordinate patient flow, ensuring optimal outcomes and compliance with policies and procedures.Advocate for patients by addressing concerns, educating families, and maintaining confidentiality.Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute ideas for enhancing patient care and staff processes.Maintain professional competence through ongoing training, certifications, and involvement in professional organizations.Mentor and support the growth of fellow nurses, fostering a positive work environment, and adhering to safety, confidentiality, and professional standards. Qualifications & Skills Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.Valid RN license (single-state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification are required.Strong communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills.Commitment to ongoing professional development and quality improvement.
